Finished Fibers, LLC is primarily a quilting company; it was created by Ginger Cherry in 2015 to develop unique t-shirt, memory and custom quilts.  The company is well suited to provide completely one-of-a-kind items to customers who are seeking those personal handmade pieces, particularly for memorial purposes and special occasions.

Ginger's Story

Finished Fibers' mission is to provide customers with quality quilts that will enhance their lives through beauty and reflection; Ginger provides customers a unique service to help celebrate and memorialize aspects of their lives  — such as graduations, weddings, births and the lives of their loved ones who have passed away.

Ginger Cherry previously managed Patchwork Memories, Inc, a quilting company that specialized in making T-shirt and memory quilts.  As Patchwork Memories moved to only providing Art Quilts as their main focus, she felt it was necessary to continue the important work of making T-Shirt, Memory and Custom Quilts, so Finished Fibers was created to continue offering these services to anyone seeking this unique product.

Ginger operates out of her own design studio, and she has access to everything she needs to make your quilt a reality.  She is a member of the Capital Quilters Guild.  Prior to becoming a professional quilter, she taught high school English for thirteen years, AP Literature and Composition and English IV.

Work experience aside, Ginger has been a maker since she was a tiny girl. She starting sewing clothes for her dolls to start, but she quickly picked up many other sewing skills. Her mother, who is an avid quilter and creator herself, taught her how to cross stitch, embroider, piece, quilt, and crochet, and she always encouraged Ginger to experiment. Ginger was always given the opportunity to make, and she delights in having her own full time studio! The tactile process of working with fabric and fibers is the very heart of her creative process.
